Chapter 28. Richard’s Guess

“What? Never been to the beach?” asked Richard with a face of disbelief.

“Just laugh. Everyone laughed when I said it,” Winona replied, eating her lobster with gusto.

“You can eat more if you want,” replied Richard.

“No, it’s still a lot on my plate,” Winona said. Indeed, this lobster was enormous, and Winona was delighted to eat it. The flesh was very soft and sweet. Winona imagined that if she could eat seafood like this every day, maybe her body would become very fat. She liked it very much, more than any other food.

“So how come you never go to the beach?” he asked. He felt this conversation was starting to lead to something.

Richard accidentally took Winona to this seafood restaurant. He only brought her here because this restaurant had just opened, and Richard heard that the food was good. Richard didn’t expect that this delicious seafood dish could actually lead the conversation in the direction he wanted.
