Chapter 27. My Grandma

Selena looked at Isabel and said, "I don't have any friends here. Can you be my friend? You've been so kind to me these past days, and I want to be friends with you."

"With pleasure, Miss. But I'm just a maid."

"Don't say that! We're both workers here. The only difference is that your work is far better than mine." Selena was still sad due to the sudden change in attitude from Mr. Zidant and Gio.

"Miss, do you need something?"

"No, thank you, Isabel."

"Alright then, Miss. I'll leave for now. Just let me know if you need anything."

"Okay, thank you."

Selena was alone again in the guest room. She had some new clothes. The entire room was in complete disarray. Luckily, some things were not destroyed by the intruders, and everything had been moved into this room.

Selena lay down on the bed, feeling very down. "Grandmother, what's wrong with me? Why am I in so much pain?"
