Chapter 25. Kiss

Selena stood up and walked out of the room. However, two guards blocked her path. "I want to leave."

"Miss, you're not allowed to leave."

"Please, let me go."

Selena continued pleading with the guards and informed them that Mr. Zidant wouldn't be angry if she left the room. Eventually, they allowed her to go. Selena looked for the whereabouts of Mr. Zidant and Gio.

She searched on the first floor but found nothing. There was no sign of them even on the second floor. Selena wanted to ask the guard who seemed to be dealing with the intruders. But as she approached the male guard, she felt puzzled because he was leading the woman who posed as a doctor into the storeroom.

"Gio said it's the storeroom, and nobody is allowed inside because there are many weapons. Why is he taking her there?"

Curious, Selena followed him. She was surprised when she discovered that behind the room, there were stairs leading downward. Quietly, she descended the stairs.
