Chapter 17. Gross
I’d say the celebration is off to a good start. It’s entertaining, and there haven’t been many issues so yet. Abby and I have become excellent friends, and I am expanding my social circle.
When Caleb got off work, the first thing he did was head to the dining room for a round of beer pong.
There’s commotion in the living room, and Abby and I can both hear it. We both swivel our heads to look around and see what’s happening.
"Don’t look now," she warned. When Ava and her duplicates enter, Abby groans. They all looked fantastic in their miniskirts, halter tops, and gold accessories. It was as though a scent wave accompanied them everywhere they went.
They said, "If you don’t like them, why invite them?" When I ask Abby about it, she scoffs.
To put it bluntly, "because the anger and drama would be worse than just putting up with them." I roll my eyes and she shrugs as they head to the ping pong table.
