Chapter 16. Cheers I Guess

"Chloe!" After hearing Asher’s voice and a single knock on my door, I always let him in. As in, "Hey, you good?" I give him the eye roll whenever he asks.

"What time did you arrive?" How did he manage to have everything packed and ready to go?

"Within the past five minutes?"

"Are you ready to go now?" When I shake my head and ask, he chuckles.

"Sure, I’m ready to go after a quick shower and change of clothes."

"Men." When I sigh, he laughs and gestures down the corridor for me to leave. I foolishly believed that I was the type of girl who didn’t require much.

"Are you geared up and ready to go?" Nash sighs in response to Asher’s inquiry, gathers his belongings (cell phone, keys, wallet) and follows us out the door.
