We arrived back in the pack, and the feeling of belonging I once had vanished as if it had never been there. Now I felt like something was missing, but I just did not know how to describe it.
The driver parked the car next to the other cars in the villa's compound. We all got down but I was the last one to get out of the vehicle. I did not mind; it was not like we were having any kind of conversation with each other anyway.
