Chapter 15. Your Laugh Is Pretty

"Uhm... Because we are friends?", he tried but when he saw that look on her face he quickly added 

"Classmates? Neighbours?", he asked nervously, shaking his right leg continuously as he said that. He really hope he wouldn't blow things up.

Kaylee gazed at him for a while before replying 

"Do you like cookies?", she asked and she wondered why she had said that 

"Yeah! You definitely, I mean I definitely lo- love them", he answered anxiously. He couldn't believe she offered him cookie, that was like a progress, right?

She laughed at the way he had stammered just now and he could not believe what he was seeing. 

'She laughed! She actually laughed', he scream in his heart in joy 

"Your laugh is pretty", his thought slipped right out of his mouth and she stopped laughing abruptly. She turned her head sideways and continued to look at the sky in silence.
