Chapter 14. The New Girl at School
Harry arrived about an hour later. He knocked on the door, and Kavinsky opened it for him.
"What's up, bro? Have been waiting for you for like three good hours," Kavinsky exaggerated.
"Seriously?" Harry asked, raising one brow.
"Okay, okay, it has only been an hour, but what took you so long?" Kavinsky asked, walking in.
"The traffic is really insane in town, I tell you," Harry replied and took his seat on the couch.
He looked at the table and noticed that Kavinsky had set up the game controllers. A glass of orange juice was on the table as well.
"Can I get one of that?" Harry asked.
"No," Kavinsky replied with a grin and took a sip of the juice, just to intimidate Harry. It was payback for the day he had gone to Harry's house, and Harry had first refused to give him a cup of coffee.
"Seriously, bro? It's your birthday!" Harry replied in protest.
Kavinsky finally stood up and got Harry a cup filled with orange juice after teasing
