Chapter 41. He Loves Me
LENA
I heard Carla say my name to make me stay in the bathroom, but I ignored her. I walked with a smile, but tears also welled up in my eyes. What Carla told me hurt. Not only for Dean but also for her. I didn't have to go through one grief; I had to go through two: my husband's and my best friend's. I wiped away my tears. My destiny was to return to the hall. But Dean appeared and grabbed my wrist. He started walking.
"What are you doing, Dean? Let go of me!"
"Shut up and walk, Lena."
"You can't do this. Where are you taking me?"
"I have to talk to you. What you're doing is a mistake," he replied.
I protested. I asked him again to stop. But he didn't relent. Dean led me into the janitor's room. The door was open, and he took advantage of it. He locked the door.
"Are you crazy, Dean? Let me out," I demanded.
