Chapter 49. I'm Scared

Isabella led us to a room. I was afraid to enter the room as fear took hold of me, but Dean took my hand and walked in with me. I felt safer, but the fear didn't disappear. I closed my eyes and sighed.

"I can feel your nerves, Lena," commented the witch.

"I'm afraid of what will happen. I don't even know what will happen."

"Haven't you told her, Dean?" Isabella asked.

Tell me. Did Dean have to tell me something?

I looked at him.

"Tell me what?"

"Isabella believes she can cure you, but they are experimental spells," Dean confessed.

Experimental? Why did that sound bad? Judging by Dean's expression, I knew something bad was happening.

"Is it something bad, Dean? What else do you know?" I demanded. I needed to know what I was getting into.

I needed Jake with me. I needed him to hold my hand and help me.

"I want you to kno
