“Train me till he is satisfied, my ass,” Selene grumbled as she once again found herself eating dust. Timothy really was one of the strongest warriors in her pack. They had been training together for two months now since they struck the bargain. Well, more like Timothy had been handing her her ass.

“You’re getting better, you know. Much improvement from when we started two months ago. Your defense is stronger, and your attacks are more precise,” he told her, standing above her with a shit-eating grin.

“If I didn’t know better, I’d say you enjoy hitting me,” she said to him in annoyance. That wiped the grin off his face, leaving a hurt expression instead. “I was joking. You know I was. You’re the last person to enjoy hurting a woman. I was the one that asked to be treated like any other werewolf you’ve trained, remember?” she hurriedly added to assure him.
