Chapter 28. Mario: pt. 1

“Get out,” Lucien ordered Charles, who happily left. When he did, Lucien continued with what he was doing before his friend walked in.

“You haven’t been picking up your calls. I was calling to know if you were still interested in the Port Harcourt project.” Cecil took one of the seats opposite Lucien. “And you don’t look good. Are you okay?”

“I don’t know,” Lucien answered plainly while doing what he was doing.

Cecil laughed at what he thought might be the issue. “Did the poor girl find out you’re crazy and decide to leave you?” He referred to Anna, but Lucien just sighed tiredly. He hadn’t slept through the night. He had been running around trying to fix the trails together to find a head point in locating Anna.

“Someone took her,” Lucien disclosed to Cecil and watched his eyes go round with shock.
