Anna found her way to Kenaco’s office like she was directed. Lucien had placed a call to the man since he couldn’t make it with her to his office.

Anna stopped at the office door and took a deep breath before knocking thrice. She heard a man with a deep voice ask her to come in, so she did. When she walked in, she met Gennie sitting in one of the two chairs opposite him.

Gennie turned in her seat and scanned her from head to toe like she was trash, then turned back to the young Kenaco sitting opposite her.
