Anna stepped closer, fingers hesitating on the doorknob before gently pushing it open. The room was dim, bathed in the same red light that had seeped into the hallway. It wasn’t harsh, more like the soft hue of a darkroom. But it wasn’t the lighting that held her still; it was what covered the walls.
