I'm about to go home around 5 o'clock in the afternoon, but before I could even leave the lobby area, Lexie had been following me the whole time.

"Madeline, you know that's not a good idea to put up with something like that with a grown woman," she tried to stop me from what I was thinking earlier.

"Lexie, that's the whole spot there, and I just need to fill it in," I stated before I went out to wait for the valet to get my car.

"But can you just cool down for a second? You just negotiated things with that guy last night, and now you're going to go for more?" She blurted out.

First of all, I wouldn't even know if that man was going to message me at all, so I need another option. Bringing Cadence into our company is not a bad idea at all.
