Chapter 12

Emma was still waiting for Sebastian.

She didn't cry anymore, she felt even more useless for crying so much for a man who was now running away from her.

But she stayed at HQ, in his office, sitting on the chair that belonged to him. He knew that sooner or later Sebastian would show up there and finally they would have a long talk.

A real conversation.

"Hey." Katy stopped at the door. Emma smiled at her. There was nothing that would make Katy stay at HQ. She wasn't part of the gang anymore and that place wasn't one hundred percent safe, but still, Katy was there for her. And Emma was grateful to have someone else by her side. "Aren't you hungry?"

"No." Emma replied.

Katy sighed, finally entered the room and closed the door. In her hands were paper bags, Emma smiled knowing that there certainly were hamburgers of the largest size and full of bacon.

"Let's eat." Katy said, sitting down on Sebastian's desk.

"I'm not hungry, I'm serious."
