"Can you drop me off at HQ?" Emma asked Ramon.

Katy was already gone. Emma would take a taxi, but since Ramon was still there and he was certainly going to the same place she wanted, she dared ask.

"Are you sure you want to go there?"

"I know Sebastian is already there. I want to be able to talk to him."

"But at home, you…"

"Can you or not?" she cut him off.

Ramon sighed, nodding.

Emma thanked him as he opened the passenger door for her and watched him walk around until he was in the driver's seat.

The path was completely silent. Emma didn't want to talk, as her mind was full of everything she would ask Sebastian, while Ramon still felt shy about the fact that he had let his feelings for her show.

If Katy had already noticed, would Emma have too?

Emma didn't look at him, didn't even say an "a" beyond thanking him when they finally arrived at HQ.
