Chapter 15

Sofia didn't want to, but she sat down anyway.

"What's with my boyfriend?" Emma asked, this time without as much control or seriousness. His face showed how angry he was at that moment.

"If he didn't tell you, I won't be the one to do it." Sofia got up again.

"Sit down!" Emma commanded, pointing the gun.

"No!" the girl seemed to have worked up a sudden courage. "you don't scare me."

"You're going to sit in that fucking chair and you're going to say everything." Emma rose.

Sofia turned, giving her her back. He started towards the door, but stopped when he heard a loud shot.

Emma's gun was pointed at the wall beside the door. The bullet had passed right by Sofia and stopped right there.

Something meant to intimidate the other, but it made even Emma's own heart flutter.

"You are crazy!" Sofia turned, looking at her too.
