Chapter 18
Katy was still upset about what had happened to her, but she worried about Emma and didn't tell her about it.
To make her feel better, he invited her to the gym for a day. With the gang, Foster almost never left. But accompanied by Ramon, who indisputably said he wouldn't leave Emma alone and would make her safe, she felt good entering the walls of the place.
"Hey, long time!" one of the instructors greeted Emma.
He didn't know Emma was in the gang. She was the only one who was part of it, but who didn't yet have the mark of the phoenix. But still, the man always welcomed everyone with open arms and a warm smile, and in that instant when Emma greeted him, it felt good to be away from the chaotic world she was placed in, if only for an afternoon.
"Are you going to practice boxing today?" he asked, curious.
Emma smiled but denied it.
"I don't think so."
