Valerie Will POV

I remember when I gave birth to Liam. I didn’t have anybody by my side — no friends, no family. I just did it alone.

But this time around, I smiled as I saw Patrick, Liam, Alexis, Noah, and my mom in the hospital room. I still felt weak from the delivery, my body aching in places I didn’t even know could ache.

Patrick sat at the edge of the bed, his hands never leaving mine. Liam and Noah spent the last hour hovering around the baby.

“She’s so small,” Liam whispered.

Noah nodded. “Yeah, she’s so tiny.”

“That’s how you were when I gave birth to you,” I responded with a chuckle.

Noah turned to Patrick. “Was I also like this?”
