Patrick Banks POV
I shouldn’t have brought that topic up.
I messed up.
From the way Valerie looked at me, I wasn’t even sure she was interested in speaking to me anymore. I had ruined my chances.
My heart broke as I watched her storm out of the hotel.
I couldn’t even run after her. It would only make things worse.
Dragging my hand through my hair, I let out a frustrated sigh. The workers in the hotel were already staring at me weirdly, so I had to walk out immediately.
As I stepped outside, my eyes darted around the parking lot as I tried to find my car. Jordan was meant to be waiting for me there but I couldn’t see him.
Why did he leave without telling me?
Just as I was about to call him, my phone buzzed with a text from Jordan. [ I’m sorry I left you but I’m following her car. I’m sure you would love to know where she’s staying.]
