The party was already in full swing, and it was planned outside. Mark could swear that the garden had never looked as beautiful as it did at the moment. The violent wind kept flinging the dinner table dress, and the low music created a serene atmosphere.
He stood by the side, feasting his eyes on the flurry of activities going on all around him. He sighted the popular thick girl, who was popularly called Fat Lana, staring in disdain at the couple making out in the corner. In a way, he did share her aversion, wondering if there was no bathroom for them to eat each other’s faces.
He glanced at the other side, where two boys sat closer to the gate, drinking what he believed to be alcohol. He shook his head and turned away, not bothering to say anything to anyone.
