Chapter 27

“Dom? You have a guest. A very hot guest.” Lina said.

“Who is it?” Dom replied with an eye roll.

“He says he’s Mr. King.”

“Trevor King?” He couldn’t hide his shock. He and Trevor hadn’t seen each other in months. And even when they did see each other, it was never at Dom’s office. So why was Trevor here and unannounced too?

“Let him in.”

“Of course.” The door shut behind Lina, only to be flung open again to allow Trevor in.

The air he strolled in with was not friendly, Dom observed with a frown.

“What brings you here, King?”

“Can’t I drop by a friend’s office anymore? I spoke to Liam recently, and he doesn’t even need to be announced anymore. I thought to do the same.” He smiled, slow and wide, the usual smile, and some of the tension in Dom’s shoulders eased.

“You’re a terrible liar, and you know it, Trevor. Tell me, what brings you here?”
