Although Jacob was irritated at his older brother’s presence, he couldn’t do anything but follow him.

“1 ... 2 ... 3 ...” Jacob counted and opened the door, followed by the sound of confetti and party horns.

But instead of surprising Brent, they were the ones who were surprised by Brent as he was embracing a woman, and not just a random woman‒it was Ellie.

“What the heck is she doing here?” Nathan whispered in shock.

When Grayson saw the picture in the woman's wallet, he had a bad feeling about it and first thought of Allison as he knew she would be the first to be affected and hurt.

Worried, Grayson immediately grabbed a taxi and gave the address where Brent's birthday party was being held. Allison invited him a few days ago, hoping he would attend despite knowing he was going abroad that day. The least he expected, he would actually go there and cancel his flight.
