Chapter 65. To the Rescue

Dave got into the city very late and lodged into a hotel. He would have been too tired to do anything as always whenever he travelled but was awake all through the night and there was no sleep in his eyes.

He thought of Jane throughout the flight and could not get his mind to think of anything other thing except how he would get her out of wherever she was safely. He suddenly realized Fredrick was an influential man like Alex had told him and it would not be easy to approach him for a crime like that. He hoped the cops there would not be hesitant.

Fredrick was a very popular man and he could buy them off the case. Now, Dave knew it was not easy as he thought. What he had imagined in his head was going to fight the man and taking Jane from him. Like in the case of a movie, and so he just set off without any strategic plan like the hero he wanted to be.
