Chapter 150. Money Call

Bethany did not hear most of what he was blabbing about bur had to wait for him to be done as she could not afford to interrupt him and get him pissed about it. He was someone she knew well and knew what he could do.

“So, what did you say you want me to do for you?” he finally asked.

“I need you to help me find my husband, Jason” she told him. “He was abducted on his way to a meeting and we are not able to keep any traces of him.”

“No way I am getting myself involved with that. Isn’t your husband the almighty Sinclair? First of all, how was he abducted in the first place and secondly, with the kind of people he is possibly engaged with, I do not think I want to risk my life with that. Besides, I am sure your husband has men more skilled than I am, so really wonder why you are calling me.”

Bethany sighed and thought of what to say to convince him, though she knew it might not be as hard as he is sounding. But he is actually making a point.
