Chapter 10. Selena's Wolf

Selena’s attention was drawn away from her friends and toward Xavier, who was grinning and standing in front of her locker. “That’s another story for another time.” I need to get somewhere before the first period.” She told her friends and then walked to her locker. She tried hard to hide her upset feelings from the last night.

Dalett and Trisha rolled their eyes as they waited a few centimeters away from her.

“I’m growing sick of it. They haven’t had sex, but she has always loved Xavier,” Dalett explained. 

Trisha responded, her gaze fixed on Selena. “That’s disgusting, Dalett. Nobody wants their first sexual encounter to be void of romance. Then Dalett and Trisha locked gazes. “Oops, except for you, I guess.” 

Dalett leaned closer and muttered something. “That was just one time, and it was on the day of Xavier’s win-win football party, near the dumpster.”
