Chapter 16. Kill Her

Selena smiled and extended her hand to shake Max’s. “My name is Selena O’Brien.” Max was scared to grab her hand since she was so beautiful. She also smelt so wonderful that Max was confident Titus would like Selena if he saw her. 

She wanted to weep, but she held back. “Max Terry.” Selena smiled as she took Max’s hand in hers. 

“Well, welcome to my school, Max. You’re beautiful.”

“Her school?” Max’s brow furrowed. She wore a puzzled face as her gaze went across Selena’s. 

“Hello, I’m Dalett, and this is Trisha,” the girl next to Selena remarked, introducing her other friend to Max. “This school is run by Selena’s uncle, and I know you want to be friends with us. Selena is the queen of Seattle High, and she did not get there with the help of her uncle, the owner of the school. She got there at her own accord.” 

“Dalett, please stop praising me so much all the time.” Selena flicked her red hair out of her face, looking power
