Detective Hanson’s POV
“Thud!” I slammed the door as I got out of the car. There were lots of police cars and the forensic team personnel were everywhere. “Clink!” my lighter sparked, lighting the cigarette in my mouth. Then my assistant ran towards me.
“Finally, sir! I was beginning to think you weren’t gonna show up,” he said.
“That’s nonsense,” I retorted, “I was simply savoring my morning tea,” I said. “So, do tell me Charles, what’s the situation like?” I asked as we began to walk towards the crime scene surrounded by police barricade tapes.
“Well, sir, I must say, it’s has to be the most vicious crime scene I’ve ever seen. I mean, it’s worse than what you’d expect if he were attacked by a bear,” he said.
“Can I see your ID?” one of the police men guarding the entrance through the barricade asked.
