Chapter 64

The whole lobby fell into silence hearing Cassandra's words, and they were surprised to think someone would be so bold to go against the CEO's cousin. They knew even though the CEO was mad at her, that did not mean she could be that bold, but they all kept watching.

“So you are saying that Carolina here bullies her?” Maurice asks and Cassandra nods her head. “Yes, president, we were all here, so there is no way I would lie against her,” Cassandra said with a face full of confidence and Hadley smiled at her.

Cassandra scoffs, seeing Hadley's loving expression, and she wonders why she was happy when she was only playing her game. She was going to make the girl trust her and then hurt her where it hurts. 

Carolina's breath hitched hearing Cassandra's words. She wondered when the girl decided to jump ship, but she was going to address that later, she just needed to get Maurice on her side.
