Hadley left the apartment building with different thoughts running through her mind and she felt that she needed to get herself a drink. Those thoughts were just clumping her mind.
Hadley stepped into the crowded club and she instantly felt like it was a bad idea but she was already there to care.
The smell of d***s, people making out nearby and the sweat of people gyrating to the blasting music in the club filled her nose and she wondered if that was what the people in the city referred to as having the best of their lives.
If she needed to clear her mind at her place in the countryside she would have to go to the lake that gives her the serenity she needed or to the night market that was always full of life.
Hadley decided to not care about what was happening in the club as she moved to the bartender. "Can you please get me your strongest drink here," she says and the man looks at her weirdly but he gives her orders anyway.
