Chapter 12

Audrey slammed the door shut and screamed. She was so confused. One minute, she caught her lover with her best friend. Another minute, she was hearing kinds of stuff from someone who claimed to be an agent.

The door opened, and a girl walked in, she was shivering merely staring at Audrey.

“What the hell do you want?” Audrey shouted.

“It’s true ma, I also noticed something,” the maid stuttered.

Audrey sighed and went to where her phone was. She pressed the record button, dropped the phone back on the table, and turned back to the maid.

“What did you also notice?” Audrey asked calmly this time.

“It was a girl, a maid, she was brought by the boss’s mother. She was like 17 or 18, she only stayed for like three days, and we didn’t see her again.”

“She could have run away or been taken back, maybe she wasn’t doing her job well.”

“No ma, something was weird about the girl. She refused to talk to anyone, and she didn’t even tell us her name,”
