AT NAY CLOTHING

Ryan was working, but he wasn’t focused. He couldn’t stop thinking about Audrey. She didn’t pick up his calls, and she didn’t reply to his messages. He wished she would just let him explain.

Octavia had tricked him into admitting that he was the one who was drunk the other night, and he had raped her. She threatened to report him and tell Audrey if he didn’t do what she said.

In frustration, he hit the computer and ran his hand through his hair. He picked up his phone and called her again, but it went to voicemail.

“Audrey, pick up your call!” he yelled and smashed the phone on the table in anger.

The door opened, and Octavia walked in. “What do you want? What are you doing here?” he asked her.

“Are you still annoyed?” she mumbled.

He went over to her and grabbed her throat. “If she doesn’t forgive me, I will kill you. I mean it,” he said, tightening his grip.
