Chapter 18

Aunt Vedika I

The curtains left an opening from which the morning light shone in. Vedika opened her eyes slowly and she could feel her body was achy and sore; She got up and did a warm up exercise.

Jumping jacks were her favorite. She stopped when she heard her phone rang. She reached out for her phone which was under the pillow.

She tossed the pillow aside and picked up her phone. When she saw the name calling, her countenance changed. She became agitated. She then hung up the call and continued with her exercise.

Her phone rang again but she didn't moved an inch. She kept working out. She knew it would be the same person calling. When the call got disconnected she rolled her eyes.

Her phone rang again for the third time. This time Vedika was really pissed. She picked up her phone on the bed and slides it and answered  the call.

She didn't say a word as she was waiting for the person to speak.

"Hello" A man's voice
