"I need it." I assert firmly, my heart racing at the thought.

Lexcis's eyes widen, and he's at a loss for words. "What?"

"One day. It could be in ten years, five years, or even one month! I'm not sure, but maybe one day. "When we're not in danger and safe." I declare with determination.

"Okay, angel. Yes, really. I wouldn't say things I don't mean." He agrees, his smile growing wider.

His smile gets bigger, and he leans in to kiss my lips softly. I can't help but smile back at him. It still hurts, and I know it hurts him too.

He pulls me to his chest and talks while softly stroking my hair when he breaks the kiss. "I believe it was a boy," he shares softly.

I tell them, "You can't know that. Too little to know." I remind him gently.
