Chapter 31. Human Village
Charlotte’s POV
The path to the village was quite a distance, with many hedges and stone paths. It makes a lot of sense why we haven’t been able to find it before; werewolves don’t just track reckless prey. If what we are looking for is too troublesome, we simply let it be.
Hunter was still skeptical about teaming up with us, but I trusted that if he tried anything, Iris, Trinity, and I could take him. Leah, my inner fox, however, had a strange attachment to him because of his unique scent, she said. I don’t understand this; I would have to keep her under control for now. The others didn’t have a problem keeping their inner wolves in check; mine was just more free-spirited.
After about three days of walking, we finally made it to the human village of Guara. This was where Hunter had heard the rumors of an Alpha, whether the rumors were about Adonis or not is yet to be known.
