Chapter 133. The Abduction
"Mummy," Davina said, walking into my room with her arms stretched.
I took her into my arms. "Love, did you sleep well?" I asked her. The soft rays of the early morning sun filtered through the windows.
She rubbed her eyes, still very sleepy. "Yes, mom. Dahviel's still in bed," she said, resting her head on my chest.
I stroked her. It was unlike her to wake up early and I could see she still needed a lot of sleep.
"Do you want a glass of milk?" I asked her and she nodded. I placed her on the bed. "I'll be right back hm." I said and she nodded and curled into a ball on the bed.
I walked into the kitchen and quickly made a glass of milk for her and walked back to my room.
"Hey, love. I've got your milk ready," I said to her and she sat up.
"Mum, can we go out today? I'm tired of staying indoors all day. Sco'land is no fun, mum. I haven't even seen grandfather or even father," she whined.
