Davina had her arms folded across her chest, while Dahviel just stood there, looking at us.
"Were you eating mum's face?" Dahviel asked curiously.
"No, brother. I'm not sure it's that," Davina replied, scrunching up her face.
"I was just taking off a piece of dirt on her," I said, struggling to come up with a reason explanation.
Davina gave me a disbelieving look and Dahviel's eyes shone brightly. Sometimes I wonder if they were really twins. She knew so much more. I wonder just how much things she shouldn't know, which she does.
"Alright, let's go see your grandfather," Ava heaved, making the awkward moment less awkward.
They both shrieked in excitement and walked out the door. "I'll be back soon," she said and I blew her a kiss and she smiled and left the room.
