Chapter 49. I Fell in Love with Her First

I opened my eyes and saw Skye sitting beside me on the bed. I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head.

"Are you okay?" He asked leaning closer to me.

I nodded getting up in a sitting position. "How long have I been asleep?" I asked him taking notice of the darkness outside.

"Approximately 12 hours." He said, handing me a glass of water. 

"Thank you," I muttered as I took the glass from him.

I had no idea I slept for so long. I took a sip from the glass and handed it back to him. "What about Natasha?" I asked him.

He had a scowl on his face. "In the dungeon with Fernandez." He said. 

I shut my eyes tight and placed my head on the upholstered bed stand. "How did you find me?" I asked him.

"I wanted to have a talk with you after the incident at the lake. I knew where you'd be and I came and found Natasha standing over the ice and jeering. She said something like you're gone now and that's what she wanted. Immediately s
