Chapter 61. The Honest Truth
I watched the color drain out of his face as he stumbled backward.
"No," he said in fear. I was suspicious of his expression. Why was uncle scared I had met my father? Perhaps, was father right? Did uncle really not want me to be with him?
"You took me away from a man that loves me. You and mother." I said to him, trying not to get angry at him.
"It was to protect you." He finally said.
"Protect me from what? A caring father? The love of a father? The feeling of having a father to lean on? The feeling of having a father of my own?" I questioned at once.
He was silent.
"Answer me!" I blurted out in anger. All my pent up anger bursting out. I stayed without a father for nineteen years of my life, thinking I had none. Meanwhile he was alive somewhere, and the person I trust the most kept me away from him, and still lying to me till this day.
