Claire’s POV

“Why didn’t you tell me earlier? So I could thank her. Because of her, you went to the bar where I was,” I chuckled.

“Silly,” he stood up and hugged me. I hugged him back; I am glad we can finally show affection to each other.

“You can kiss me longer now since my parents are not here anymore,” Luke teased me. He was wearing a smile that I used to hate from the start.

I scoffed and chuckled, “Come on, give me a kiss,” Luke said excitedly.

“I am tired, let’s rest,” I smiled a little at him.

“Really?” his smile vanished, and he acted sad, “It is fine. We still have tomorrow. You can still kiss me tomorrow,” he smiled.

“I am going to take a shower first, then after me, you can do your routine. I know how long girls take in the bathroom even before sleeping,” he smiled. He didn’t let me speak, and he immediately went to his bathroom.
