Chapter 12. Find My Daughter

It seemed silly for Willow to come to the hotel in the morning. Two things had been on her mind since last night: she would come to the hotel because of Kyler’s promise to find Zoey. And secondly, she was curious to know who Kyler really was. Was he really a lawyer? Or was he just a talkative, unemployed Lycan?

Once in the lobby, Willow didn’t know where to go. She was baffled.

Was Kyler in the hotel?

“Mrs. Anberlin, good morning,” the receptionist greeted broadly.

“Ah, good morning.”

“Our hotel guests are waiting for you in the lounge. Detective Jensen has also arrived.”

“Detective?” Willow could hardly believe what she heard.

The receptionist hurried ahead of Willow to escort her to the lounge, and soon, Willow was following close behind. They walked down a quiet corridor, and the receptionist opened the door to the lounge. Shawn was already sitting on one of the couches by the window. The sunlight was shining on his body.
