Chapter 19. Shawn’s Prejudice

Shawn stood in the hotel parking lot, having been there for quite some time while inspecting the surroundings. Earlier, he met Willow in the hotel lobby and found it odd that Kyler suddenly left for out-of-town business. One of the hotel staff mentioned hearing commotion late at night, but things had calmed down since then.

Shawn’s suspicions arose when the hotel receptionist mentioned the partial destruction and damage to Willow and Kyler’s room. Even though Kyler had been reimbursed for the damages, it still raised concerns for Shawn. The receptionist suggested that Willow and Kyler might enjoy rough play.

This didn’t lead Shawn to assume it was a matter of sexual relations but rather something else concealed by Kyler and Willow.
