Chapter 20. Being Caught

Kyler watched over the building, tightly guarded by figures dressed in all black. It was one of the laboratories he discovered, following the trail of blood left by the Lycan eliminated by Willow. Kyler had visited several laboratories, even outside state borders. However, he had yet to expect another one just outside the city, not too far away. It seemed like a new facility, information Kyler had not obtained before.

Approaching again would be difficult for Kyler; the guards would surely sense his presence. Being Lycans themselves, it would be challenging for Kyler to fight back if caught red-handed. Faintly, the sound of approaching vehicles could be heard. Hidden among the trees in the forest, Kyler looked towards the noise. Lights from black vans came to the laboratory at speed.
