Chapter 80. A Messy Honeymoon
In the morning, Max asked Willow to check out of the suite. Nothing had happened between them last night, in fact Willow had managed to fall asleep on the couch. Of course, Willow felt guilty. But Willow still couldn’t give herself completely to Max.
But Max’s attitude was completely normal, he didn’t seem angry or disappointed. In fact, Max’s behavior made Willow’s feelings even more uncertain.
“Where are we going, Max?” Willow asked.
“A surprise.”
The car pulled into a small airport and a private jet was waiting for them. Willow was stunned, not expecting Max to go that far. But Max seemed unfazed, as if this was something he did on a regular basis.
With a gentle touch on Willow’s arm, Max led her into the jet and they settled in comfortably.
“Max, I’m serious. Where are we going?” whispered Willow.
“Somewhere I think you’ll like.”
The four-hour flight took Willow to an island with the only five-star hotel building. Around the hotel
