The breakfast between husband and wife passed in silence.

Willow didn’t dare to look at Max, who was eating his breakfast while looking at his phone, or rather diverting his attention to the gadget.

All night long Willow felt extremely guilty, but she couldn’t fulfill her duties as a wife. It was clear that Willow felt guilty for fantasizing about Kyler and then disappointing Max.
