Chapter 120. Power of Words

“Try to take it slow,” Dove began to say as she helped me up. My legs felt a little numb, but I was ready to walk again. I wanted to recover, and I did my best to do that.
I kissed my wife on the lips to thank her that my world was complete with her, even though I didn’t say it in words, and she only ever saw me with a constant seriousness and a cold look. I was never very emotional, although I tried hard to make her understand that she was the most important thing in my life.
She looked beautiful in a purple dress with red accents that highlighted her eyes. She was an impressive queen with a presence that amazed me. I didn’t say out loud everything that came out of my heart; it wasn’t my way of being. But it was just hers; she had the key and could do what she wanted. I’d always give her everything.
“You’re doing well,” she said and laughed with joy. We walked around the room together, practicing until the doctor came. He helped me to stand up.
