Making love to my husband again was a wonderful moment for me. I didn’t want to admit that I couldn’t stand it without him, but only I knew how much I missed him sometimes when we were fighting or apart for some reason.

I looked over at him; he was stroking my stomach and had a calm expression on his face. Since we had reconciled, he hardly spoke; it would take a while for him to trust me the same way he used to.

He didn’t need to speak to express his love; I could feel it without having to hear a single word from him.

Since we had returned to our room, he hadn’t taken his eyes off me and held me in his arms the entire time. He kissed me and gently stroked every part of my body as if it were made of glass.

I was walking through the hallways when I spotted Ian sitting on one of the benches. He looked thoughtful; I hadn’t had a chance to talk to him since his grandfather died. It was a chain of events that had happened in a very short time.
