“The queen!” shouted one of the guards when Mirna started causing a commotion. But she did not mean to hurt me; she was just angry with me, and that did not make her a murderer. She took it upon herself to destroy everything around her before the guards restrained her. The ink scattered on the floor looked like blood to my eyes, even though the color was different, and I looked away.
Mirna looked at me with eyes full of disappointment. I felt that bitter feeling that you know you provoked and that you would change if you could undo it, but that you really ignored at the time.
