[Flashback continues]
It was almost time for the main celebration, with people from many places, neighboring cities, and towns being invited.
The nighttime schedule favored me; I usually liked that time more because it wasn’t as hot, and I wasn’t as easily overwhelmed. I was an extremely reticent person, so it was not easy for me to relate to crowds.
They wanted me to get married, but I hadn’t found the right woman yet—the one my eyes would see, and I would be struck. I was sure of it; I wouldn’t marry anyone I didn’t really fall in love with.
As I entered that place, I knew it wasn’t so bad after all; the tables looked big, and I shouldn’t be crowded.
“Good evening, Your Majesty,” said one of the nobles whom I almost didn’t remember. I greeted and continued on my way, where many others greeted me.
